For this purpose, 141 athletes referring to sports clubs in Arak city were selected as the sample size.

In addition, the results of this study showed that there is no significant difference between sports participation motivation and sports motivation by gender (P < 0.001). The analysis of variance test results revealed a significant inverse relationship between age and the scores of both sports participation motivation and sports motivation (P < 0.001).
